Louis Armstrong (also known as Satchmo, Satch and Pops, Satchmo being a fusion of the words satchel-mouth) was a trumpeter, bandleader, singer, soloist, film star and comedian. Considered one of the most influential artists to change the face of jazz history, he is known for songs like "Star Dust," "La Via En Rose" and "What a Wonderful World", his most successful song. Louis was also seen in collaborations with other artist such as Ella Fitzgerald (known as the First Lady of the Swing), Miles Davis (Louis' best friend and "rival") and King Oliver (former teacher and leader of Louis' first quartet).

Story[]

Louis return from the dead and makes a deal with Scatman John in the music video for Everybody Jam! He was a trumpeter, bandleader, singer, soloist, film star and comedian.

Everybody Jam![]

The video for this track featured Scatman walking through a car park at night, when he glances up the spirit of Armstrong appears. The pair agree to duet and the action switches to a New Orleans Mardi Gras street party. Armstrong and Scatman ride along the road in an open top limo whilst a marching band precedes them and various children dressed as Scatman dance around. There's also shots of John by various New Orleans Landmarks. The video ends back in the car park as Armstrong disappears, happy to be remembered.

Trivia[]

The very fact how Scatman talks to Louis Armstrong is very strange with samples of his voice edited into the track as if in conversation with the Scatman
